ions. Then she appeared into the study of reality.
Watching her smartly watch her brother speak with
Jacob, Animal enjoyed her. She could be flatt-
ered by the eyes but was keeping away; paying no
attention to herself, holding still. She was not
why he was here, but she gave to the table an ex-
citing comfort.
"Where have you been; what have you been doing?"
Jacob asked plesently to Animal.
"In the world of finance, and the excape from it."
"Torn between securtiy and devilment a'?"
"Running around the heavens making of myself an
unpolished star."
"Very nice; but now that you dress in the costume
of the streets, will your preformance be of the the-
eatre that helps others to remember you."
"Alcohol is memory's special gift."
Said Blankname, "I am dreaming of a place to drink
it, that will last. A place we can always go once
we have it. Money is subject to change, and it seems
through your attitude, that someday you will have none."
"My attitude has been running by the sea and reading
the Journal. In the meantime people will want to cel-
ebrate, and my balance and sanity will occur there un-
