The narrator considers a plan, an action and a change before describing dreams, clothes, a pickup truck, river noise and a tavern. The narrator relates the beginning and end of a life to the difficulty of telling a story.

The narrator shifts from a scheme of places and dimensions to remembered or imagined scenes. The account of Christ in the bushes and a definition found in reading belong to the narrator's claims. Cancellations and handwritten replacements limit the exact opening and closing readings.

A handwritten heading, 'SEEing through A trANglE is Not difficulty / A pLAN, AN ActioN, A chANgE.', over typed prose in which the narrator says 'coming back to the beginning creates the fourth / demention', recalls a Hollywood suit from the forties, and ends in a tavern where a friend 'quietly is telling me to leave, but I'm having anyway.'

The prose mixes self-diagnosis, humor and vision ('when Christ walked / out of the bushes as a bush'); the food word after having is omitted because only part of it is cancelled.
