By Jack Joseph Smith

Almost complete with a ready- ness for it, his ribs were strumed by the tight ribbons of his nervious system, and a small tight ball like lead had sank into his solarplexes to a place inpossible to defic- ate from. The sickness in his throat surged, as if pelts of iron, could come, so immediate from an industrial stream. An inside power though his balls of spit, And he wondered at no planned magnet taking his place. If he could just deficate, come clean, but that was out of the question now, this whole being surrived only on the beginning going down.

The narrator describes a man's ribs strumed by his nervious system, a lead-like ball in his solarplexes and sickness in his throat. The man wants to deficate and come clean.

The narrator uses industrial images for bodily pressure and describes the man's survival while going down. An ambiguous vowel in the throat verb limits that detail, but the distress remains explicit.
