Remembers Chicago sometime in the late fifties. Prankster puts the chain belt to his ribs; ties it and starts. The wind of winter rushers off the lake. His cycle large and in style is his women. Hating drugs and the fashion of it's coming, his rush is to the center; L.A. Become the lie, know the lie, fade past film. He dreams of the desert as he mounts. The roar on his feet gives a vibrative silence that can only be recognized at the view of his dirt cleaned finger- nailes. On the road is not litterate to him, and excape is not a question. Although realease is a a dedication confronting the weary, to survival, he is beyond now in the not rememberence of dreams, as his thoughts may only look upon a machine mind traced on wind until?

In a late-fifties Chicago winter scene, Prankster fastens a chain belt and starts his cycle. The narrator follows his rush toward L.A. and his desert dreams of release, survival and a machine mind.

The narrator calls the cycle Prankster's women and pairs its roar with silence and dirty fingernails. Faint interlinear notes remain unread, so they cannot explain the dream's machine mind.

Under 'Remembers', the typed passage places Prankster in 'Chicago sometime in the late fifties' on a motorcycle, with 'his rush is to the center; / L.A.' and the command 'Become the lie, know the lie, fade past film.'

The ride becomes a state of mind, ending on 'a machine mind / traced on wind until?'. The heading's spelling is not fully certain.
