The note addresses Christian, warns to watch an A.G., and compares the action to trimming a Georgian French lilac tree.

The initials are a provisional cursive reading and are not expanded. The page does not identify the addressee beyond its wording or explain the tree comparison.

A four-row handwritten admonition: 'Watch your A.G. / Christian, like / Trimming a Georgian / French Lilac tree.'

The note frames care or restraint as pruning an ornamental tree. The initials are not expanded, the addressee is known only by the name on the page, and the cursive initials remain a provisional reading.
